Clinical Interests

I have always been fascinated by the intricate connection between the brain and behavior, and psychiatry allows me to explore that every day. What initially drew me to this field was the opportunity to help patients improve their mental health and overall quality of life. I wanted to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by offering them the tools and support needed to manage their mental health conditions.

My primary areas of focus include depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and ADHD. I have experience treating these conditions across different age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults. I also enjoy working with patients who may have complex presentations and need a tailored, comprehensive treatment plan.

Clinical Approach

I believe in a collaborative approach with my patients, where I listen carefully to their concerns and work together to create an effective treatment plan. I focus on building trust and making sure that my patients feel heard and understood. I emphasize a patient-centered style of care, making adjustments as needed to ensure that treatments align with their unique needs and goals.

My ideal patient is someone who is open to collaboration and is motivated to take an active role in their treatment. Whether they are managing anxiety, depression, OCD, or ADHD, I appreciate patients who are willing to work together to find the best possible treatment plan and who are committed to their journey of improvement and self-care.

Education

After completing my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University, I specialized in psychiatry. I gained significant experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. My clinical work involves treating a range of psychiatric conditions, particularly focusing on ADHD, depression, and anxiety disorders. I've also developed expertise in telehealth services, ensuring patients have access to mental health care in both traditional and remote settings.

Hobbies

Outside of work, I have a passion for hiking, traveling, and photography, especially capturing landscapes and wildlife. I find that being in nature and exploring new places helps me recharge and brings a sense of balance to my life. Photography allows me to express creativity and document the beauty I encounter during my travels.

Certifications

I am certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and hold licensure to practice in psychiatry. I am an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
