Dr. Bintou Schoen was born in Banjul, The Gambia and is a graduate of the University of Georgia. She obtained her medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her residency and training at the University of South Florida. Dr. Schoen explains, “I take pride in helping patients develop self-awareness and agency. My goal is to assist my patients with working towards obtaining remission, increasing their quality of life and developing healthy boundaries.” In her spare time, Dr. Schoen enjoys gardening, spending time outdoors and cooking.
