At this time, we are currently seeing patients virtually through video appointments in the states of New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, and California. Patients must be physically located in these states at the time of their appointment.
The main focus of our sessions is medication management but our clinicians may provide brief psychotherapy interventions.
Yes, at this time we are in network with major commerical insurance plans such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, Cigna, and Aetna. We also offer self pay options as well.
Due to the nature of telehealth services and the support staff available at Telapsychiatry LLC, we currently are unable to take on patients that have Schizophrenia and other forms of Psychotic Illness or patients with Borderline Personality with a history of self harm. Furthermore, patients who require high dosages of first generation antipsychotic medications, injection antipsychotic medications, suboxone or methadone would not be appropriate for care through Telapsychiatry.
These individuals benefit from in person evaluations which Telapsychiatry LLC cannot provide. We will be happy to provide you a referral if we don't think we can provide you the care you need.
We do not prescribe methadone, buprenorphine (suboxone), esketamine (spravato), ketamine, psilocybin or medical marijuana.
The cadence of visits will be determined by a mutually agreed timeframe with your clinician. The minimum frequency to meet with your clinician is every 3 months.
