Where does Telapsychiatry LLC see patients?

At this time, we are currently seeing patients virtually through video appointments in the states of New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, Texas and Washington. Patients must be physically located in these states at the time of their appointment.

Do you offer in person appointments?

Majority of visits are conducted online. However, We are opening physical locations in select areas and may be able to offer in person services in the future.

Do you offer psychotherapy services?

The main focus of our sessions is medication management but our clinicians may provide brief psychotherapy interventions in 25 minute visits. Select clinicians offer 45 minute appointments with more extensive psychotherapy.

Does Telapsychiatry take insurance?

Yes, at this time we are in network with major commerical insurance plans such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, Oscar, Cigna, Tricare, and Aetna. We also offer self pay options as well.

What kind of conditions do we not treat?

Due to the nature of telehealth services and the support staff available at Telapsychiatry LLC, we currently are unable to take on patients that have Schizophrenia and other forms of Psychotic Illness or patients with Borderline Personality with a history of self harm. Furthermore, patients who require high dosages of first generation antipsychotic medications, injection antipsychotic medications, suboxone or methadone would not be appropriate for care through Telapsychiatry. These individuals benefit from in person evaluations which Telapsychiatry LLC cannot provide. We will be happy to provide you a referral if we don't think we can provide you the care you need.

What medications do we not prescribe?

We do not prescribe methadone, buprenorphine (suboxone), esketamine (spravato), ketamine, psilocybin or medical marijuana.

How often must i see my provider?

The cadence of visits will be determined by a mutually agreed timeframe with your clinician. The minimum frequency to meet with your clinician is every 3 months.

Do you charge a cancellation fee?

Any visits that are not rescheduled with 48 hour (TWO BUSINESS DAYS) advanced notice are subject to a cancellation fee. $150 for new patient appointments and $100 for follow-up appointments.
